01Are you certified to fly drones commercially?

Yes — our pilots hold Transport Canada certification for commercial drone operations and carry full liability insurance. Every flight is planned and logged according to Canadian aviation regulations.

02How much does drone photography cost in Vaudreuil-Soulanges?

As an add-on to a photo or video package, aerials run $150–400 depending on flight time and deliverables. Standalone aerial sessions are quoted per flight based on location and airspace. You always get the fixed price before booking.

03Can you fly anywhere in Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the West Island?

Almost everywhere. Some zones near airports or in controlled airspace need advance authorization — we check your exact address during quoting and handle the paperwork if required.

04What happens if the weather is bad on flight day?

We monitor the forecast closely and reschedule at no charge if wind, rain or low cloud makes flying unsafe or the footage unusable. You never pay for a weather cancellation.

05How soon can you fly, and how long does it take on site?

Most bookings are confirmed within 48 to 72 hours of the request, and residential or small-business flights take 30 to 60 minutes on site. Aerials are most efficient when booked alongside a photo or video shoot in the same visit.

06When do I get the photos and video?

Edited, colour-graded aerials are delivered within 48 to 72 hours of the flight, in high-resolution files for MLS and print plus web-sized versions for listings and social. Aerial video is delivered cut and stabilized, not as raw footage.

07What happens if the weather cancels the flight?

We reschedule at no charge, usually deciding the day before based on the forecast. Drones can't fly safely in sustained high wind, steady rain or freezing precipitation, and heavy overcast makes a property look worse than it is.

08Do you need permission to fly over my property or my neighbour's?

We need a safe launch and recovery point, which is sometimes on your lot and sometimes on a neighbouring one with permission. We also keep the required distance from bystanders and won't fly over crowds. If the property is gated or in a private community, let us know so we can clear access in advance.

09Can you fly near Montreal or Ottawa airports?

Often yes, but sites inside controlled airspace require authorization before the flight, which we request on your behalf. It adds lead time, and in some zones it caps altitude. If a location genuinely can't be flown, we tell you before you pay.

10Are you insured, and can you provide proof to my brokerage?

Yes. Our commercial operations carry liability insurance and our pilots hold Transport Canada certification. We can provide certification and insurance details on request, which most brokerages now ask for before publishing aerial images.

11Who owns the aerial images and where can I use them?

You do. Use them in MLS listings, brochures, print ads, paid social and on your website, with no expiry and no per-use fee. We archive the originals so you can request a different crop or a reissue later.

12Do you shoot aerials outside Quebec?

Yes — we regularly fly in Eastern Ontario, including Ottawa, Cornwall, Hawkesbury and Alexandria, under the same federal rules that apply in Quebec. Cross-border work needs no extra paperwork from you.

13What's the best time of day for exterior aerials?

The first two hours after sunrise or the last two before sunset. Low sun reveals the contours of acreage and keeps waterfront from blowing out; flat midday light is the most common reason aerial photos look ordinary.
