Filming across the island
Montreal is not one market, it's a dozen. Plateau and Mile End businesses live and die on aesthetics — the shoot has to look editorial. Downtown and Griffintown offices want clean, corporate-adjacent footage that still feels human. Along Saint-Laurent and Saint-Denis the storefronts are narrow and dark, so we bring our own lighting rather than fighting the room. West Island commercial strips in Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Kirkland photograph better with exterior and parking-lot context, because customers there arrive by car and need to recognise the building.
We plan the shoot day around traffic and light, not around a template. That usually means an early call time on the island, one location, and everything captured in a single visit.
